Based on the city fringe, less than 4 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD, the Council engages with their community across local business initiatives, community events, arts, environmental sustainability, community services and volunteering programs.We are passionate leaders in many fields and believe that what we do makes a positive difference to our community.The roleReporting to the Team Leader Information Management, the Information Management Officer offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team tasked with delivering Council's records management functions.As a valued member of the Information Management Team, you will contribute to the effective, efficient and accurate delivery of a range of records management services, including operational advice to staff on records management practices, policies, legislation and standards.The position is located at the Unley Civic Centre and offers a great working lifestyle with its proximity to parks, shopping centres, restaurants and cafes.About youTo succeed in this role you will have:Experience in the use of Electronic Documents Records Management Systems (ECM/CI Anywhere an advantage)Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, standards and guidelines applicable to information/records management, preferably within local government.Well developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and understand correspondence, and to relate effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels.Strong customer service ethic.Please refer to the Position Description for full requirements for the role.The benefitsThe role offers outstanding conditions of employment and benefits that are designed to attract and retain the best people.
