About the roleThe role is responsible for providing high level customer focused development and compliance services and ensuring development work undertaken within the City is completed in accordance with relevant development approvals, related legislation and community expectations. The role offers a level of autonomy and self-direction with guidance and support from experienced senior officers and associated planning and environmental health teams. The role is primarily focused on assessment inspection and compliance work relating to the Planning, Development, and Infrastructure Act 2016, Local Nuisance and Litter Control Act 2016, National Construction Code Series, and related Australian Standards.
