About the role
The Buildings & Facilities Lead is entrusted with leading a dedicated and motivated team within the City Assets Department who are responsible for delivering on Council’s obligations regarding the management, maintenance and development of its key buildings.
In 2024, Council adopted its newest Buildings Assets Management Plan. The Plan encapsulates the City’s strategies in providing accommodation for its civic, administrative and operational functions as well as community services such as sporting and recreational activities, libraries, community centres, public amenities and works depot.
