Proudly owned and operated by the City of Unley for residents and the wider metropolitan area, the facility consists of an 8-lane heated 50m pool, junior pool, toddlers pool, shaded lawns, café and operates an extended season for 9 months of the year.About the roleWe are seeking a casual Group Fitness (Aquarobics) Instructor to deliver engaging aquarobics classes to a wide range of ages in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment, supporting the health and wellbeing of our community. Availability Requirements

Applicants must be available for a minimum of three of the following sessions:

  • Tuesday 6:15am
  • Tuesday 6:30pm
  • Wednesday 12:15pm
  • Thursday 6:15am
  • Thursday 10:15am
  • Saturday 11:15am

Essential Requirements

  • Current Group Fitness Certification (Aquarobics)
  • Current Provide First Aid Certification
  • Current Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
  • Current Reporting Harm, Abuse and Neglect Certification
  • Availability to work a minimum of three shifts per week

Desirable Attributes / Qualifications

  • Ability to work across multiple areas within the centre
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Award certification
  • Current AUSTSWIM (or equivalent) Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification
  • Additional Group Fitness or Personal Training certifications
