The City of Unley currently maintains two ovals (Unley Oval and Goodwood Oval) that provide a combination of SANFL and AFLW games and turf cricket.
About the role
To undertake sports turf maintenance and open spaces including cricket wicket preparation, mowing, irrigation, fertilising, aeration and pest/disease control to a safe and high-performance playing surface.
About you
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience in maintaining high quality turf surfaces and undertaking general horticulture duties within our parks and reserves. You will have a strong horticultural background with exceptional communication skills and sound organisational and time management abilities. You will be willing to embrace new technologies in relation to streamlining operations and ensuring efficiencies.
We are seeking passionate applicants that have a budding desire to contribute Council's sports fields, parks and reserves.
You are accountable to complete work schedules and be responsible for the high standard expected within the City of Unley’s community.
