Casual Cafe Attendant

We are seeking casual staff to prepare food and beverages in the café outlet at the Unley Swimming Centre while delivering a high standard of customer service. The café is to be known for high quality food and beverages which will build on and complement the existing community atmosphere of the Unley Swimming Centre. Food and drink are to be prepared for users of the Unley Swimming Centre in a safe and hygienic manner complying with food safety standards and practices and work within a team on a flexible, rotational roster based on centre requirementsIt is essential for the successful applicants to:Recent experience in preparing and serving healthy, café style food and beveragesBarista experienceDemonstrated excellence in customer service.Experience in stock control of perishable itemsHold current Apply First Aid certificationCurrent Department of Human Services Child Related Employment Screening clearanceBe available to work a minimum of two to three shifts a week inclusive of one weekend shiftWhat we offerThis position is being offered as a casual role with a starting hourly rate of $32.66.You will work in a very attractive outdoor environment and will enjoy the support of a committed team.
