Landscape Architect

Full time, fixed term contract for a period of 5 yearsStarting salary at the MOA Level 7 classification commencing at $109,077.54 + 10.5% superannuation.About the roleThe Landscape Architect will lead collaborative projects through the research, design, development, implementation and monitoring of a range of landscape architecture and urban design projects that contribute to achieving the City of Unley’s Community Plan. Reporting to the Manager, City Design, the position will also provide expert landscape architecture and urban design advice within the City of Unley and on behalf of the Council in engagement with other stakeholders.About youTo be successful in this role you will have:An accredited university degree in Landscape Architecture and extensive relevant experience.Registration with Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).Experience managing design consultants and related design services contracts, as well as contractors and related construction services contracts.Experience developing and coordinating grant applications.Proven ability in the development of high-quality digital presentations, graphics, plans and montages.A sound knowledge of current trends in landscape architecture and urban design, sport and recreation, climate positive design.About usThe City of Unley is a vibrant and dynamic local council that provides a range of valued and diverse services to the surrounding community.
