We are passionate about customer service and believe that what we do makes a positive difference to our community.The RoleThe Planning Officer will work closely with other Planning Team members to deliver excellent development assessment and customer service.You will be a planner with experience in development assessment with a willingness to drive and build on your planning skills. You will be a team player willing to pitch in when circumstances present themselves, focused on achieving positive outcomes, have well developed IT skills, be systematic in approach, and view customer service as an integral part of the role.To succeed in this role, you will have:Qualifications in planningExperience in development assessmentKnowledge of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act and related procedures and practices of the Planning and Design CodeGood written and verbal skillsAbility to exercise and advance reasoned judgementA commitment to continuing professional developmentRemuneration is negotiable but is expected to be in line with our Enterprise Agreement for MOA Level 4/5.
