Our Planning team is passionate about learning, researching and exploring ways to continuously improve ourselves and in the delivery of exceptional outcomes for the community.About the roleFollowing an internal secondment, we have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Planning Officer to join our Planning team within the Development Services team. We are a small high performing team who pride ourselves in a progressive approach to development in the City. You will be joining an award winning team in both customer service and process improvement, being the recipient of a LG Professional (SA) Leadership Excellence Award for Customer Service and a PIA (SA) Planning Excellence Award for Improving Planning Processes in 2023.Customer service is a driving force behind the planning officer role. You will be providing high quality pre-application advice and guidance to interested parties on development matters, ensuring effective and open consultation, assistance and facilitation of positive outcomes. In this role you will  contributing to the development of the City and will be primarily dealing with proposals involving residential and urban corridor developments.
